Culinary Uses: With its warm, pungent flavor, black pepper is one of the most widely used spices in the world. Fresh ground pepper is always preferable to pre-ground as the flavor is going to be fresher and stronger. I’m usually kind of lazy and I prefer my black pepper pretty finely ground so I will do enough for about weeks’ worth of dinner at a time.
Cautions: Normal, culinary amounts of pepper are generally considered safe for all ages (well, maybe not babies)(that seems like it would be a bad idea).
