Cooking with Herbs

One of my favorite ways of working with herbs is to cook with them. Yes! I add delicious, medicinal herbs right into my food! I’m going to eat dinner pretty much every night so I might as well get some herby goodness in there too. Cooking with herbs basically means I get to “eat my medicine” whether that means adding nutritive herbs like nettle for a big boost of vitamins and minerals, or adding herbs like lemon balm, lavender, or chamomile when I need to relax, de-stress, and clear my mind. Cooking with herbs can be a great way to eat more healthfully and you can pretty much add herbs to everything you eat and drink. And I’m not just talking herbal tea here. I’m talking about super fun infused wine, botanical cocktails and mocktails, and hot cocoa!

All of my recipes have links to herbal monographs which will tell you the healing benefits of the different herbs used in the recipe. This allows you to not only choose herbs that are delicious, but you can choose them for their medicinal properties as well.

Here you will find links to my favorite, herby recipes. Many of the herbs you can probably find in your own kitchen, but you can also find them here in our shop. The easiest way to incorporate more herbs into your life is by signing up for The Curious Herb DIY Herbal Remedies Subscription Box. Amazing, herby stuff delivered right to your doorstep every single month! Find out more about our subscription plans and what you will find in the monthly boxes here.
