Therapeutic Uses: An effective wound-healing astringent, rose is great for healing cuts, scrapes, sunburn, chemical burns, acne, and more. Rose water can be used as a toner for the face and as a wound spray for most skin issues. You can make your own rose water by following our tutorial here. It’s for lavender water, but just substitute dried rose petals or use both lavender and rose petals.

Cautions: The rose family is extremely astringent and can be drying.
