Herbology 101
Here you will find in-depth information about herbs. There are literally hundreds of herbs out there, all with their own unique health benefits. It will probably take me the rest of my life to write posts on even the most common ones so, please be patient. The Herbal Monographs are quick chart-like pages for some common herbs so you can quickly get information about them. Each herbal monograph (botanical biography if you will) is chock full of information about the healing benefits of the herb, how the herb tastes, the best ways to work with the herbs, any cautions with using the herb, and so much more. The information here will help you on your herbal journey, but don’t forget, the best way to learn an herb is to work with the herb.
You will also find blog posts on some different herbs that I work with regularly and my personal experience with them. Remember that working with herbs is a personal experience. Not everyone experiences herbs the same way and some herbs work great for one person and not at all for another. Pharmaceuticals are the same way. You just have to try some and see what works for you. I highly encourage you to start adding herbs into your daily life as they help with everything from a mild case of winter blues to leaky gut syndrome, diabetes, and cancer. Herbs are amazing for 1st Aid situations and chronic illnesses alike. The only issue with working with herbs is that it can quickly become an obsession! You will absolutely love how you feel, you will become healthier, and the satisfaction of knowing you took control of your own health is intoxicating! So, let’s head down the herby rabbit hole together and get a whole lot healthier in the process!
